TOM GARLAND

Tom Garland is a stand-up comedian, best known for his star role in the movie, Headstrong (2019), alongside WWE Hall-of-Famer Rob Van Dam.

 

He has photos after his shows with Criss Angel, Andrew “Dice” Clay, Blues Traveler, and Flava Flav. He's spent nights out on the Las Vegas Strip with Steve-O and Tom Green until the sun came up. He was vegan roommates with Austin Aries, landed in Las Vegas Weekly for punching Preston Lacy in the face with a raw chicken, rode cross country on Bam Margera's tour bus, and learned the benefits of marijuana in sports from Rob Van Dam (while not playing sports). He's undoubtable weird and wild, but so is his life, considering he grew up in across the street from a quiet cornfield in Iowa. He's woke up multiple times to Aaron Carter sleeping on his couch.
 
In 2013, he broke into the national comedy scene, opening up for Steve-O & Tom Green's "Original Pranksters" Las Vegas Strip Residency at the legendary Starlite Theater at The Riviera. At the time of landing the gig, he was still living in his hometown, the unlikely locale of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 
 
Since then, he's been fortunate enough to relentlessly tour all over North America. His tour history includes stints across the USA & Canada, with members of WWE, UFC, TNA Impact Wrestling, Trailer Park Boys, Broken Lizard, Kenny Vs Spenny, Whitest Kids U'Know, Viva La Bam, CKY and the cast of MTV's Jackass.
 

In 2017, he returned to Vegas as the Feature Act for Tom Green's "The Tom Green Show" Las Vegas Strip Residency at Bally's. He spent the next three years living on the Las Vegas Strip, working stages at Vegas’ major comedy clubs and performing on various production shows nightly.

When the pandemic happened, he moved back to Iowa, but never slowed down. Most recently, he directed his first documentary film, Arcade Gamer: The True Story (2023), and released his first live comedy special on Tubi, Tom Garland: Selling Out (2024).
